Poker Stars Loyalty Program

The other site I frequently grind is Poker Stars, where I play mostly SnGs. I find it quite easy to 10-12 table the SnGs as the Stars software is really excellent.

The Poker stars loyalty program probably isn't the best out there for someone like me who will only pay around $1200 per month in rake, but the awesome software and huge player traffic more than makes up for this.

The Stars loyalty program replaces rakeback and the system itself is easily accessible to the player onsite, showing updates of both VPP’s and FPP’s. (These are poker stars points earned in tandem with one another as players pay tournament entry fees and of course keep the rake happy during the cash games. The VPP’s are essentially what is accumulated through real money play, and are used to determine a player’s VIP status on site).

I should be able to make Gold Status which will mean I'll earn FPPs faster.

Expekt Poker Loyalty Program

So, on the 1st October Expekt.com updated and improved it's poker loyalty program, the changes look to have improved the rewards for my play. Taken from the site:

You will be part of our exclusive Loyalty Program from the very first hand you play at our real money tables. You start earning Frequent Player Points (FPPs) which will at the end of month decide your VIP level and the FPP-boost. All you need to do is to make a deposit and start playing.

Frequent Player Points

Frequent Player Points (FPPs) are the cornerstone of Expekt’s Loyalty Program. You earn FPPs for every raked hand you play in a cash game, and for every tournament fee you pay. All points are awarded automatically as you play.

FPPs from cash games
In cash games the amount of points awarded depends on the amount of rake taken from the pot. You can find out how the rake is calculated here. If the hand is raked, every player in the hand will get points based on Cash Table Points Chart (below).


FPPs from tournaments
For every $1 paid in multi-table tournament fees and sit’n’go tournaments fees the player will get 20 points.

Note! You don't get any FPPs for playing in the freeroll or play money games.

Of course Expekt wants to incentivize it's higher volume players by offering improved rewards for those who play more. They achieve this by offering players a boost to the rate at which they earn FPPs:

Your VIP level is based on how many FPPs you earn during the month. At the end of every month the amount of FPPs you earned that month will be boosted according to the VIP level you earned that month (see VIP POINTS CHART below).

Your FPPs will be boosted from 20% up to 120%! Higher VIP Level = Higher Boost = More Rewards!

Example 1:
Player A starts playing 1st of October and at the end of month he has accumulated 50 000 FPPs. By looking at the VIP LEVEL CHART we can see that his new VIP level will be King which means his 50 000 FPPs will be boosted by 120%. 1st of November player A has 110 000 FPPs and VIP level King. He can cash in his FPPs by buying a bonus of $750.

Example 2:
Player B starts playing 1st of October and at the end of month he has accumulated 3000 FPPs. By looking at the VIP LEVEL CHART we can see that his new VIP level will be Bishop which means his 3000 FPPs will be boosted by 40%. 1st of November player B has 4200 FPPs and VIP level Bishop. He can cash in his FPPs by buying a bonus of $20.

It's good to see Expekt competing with other skins on the ipoker network over their loyalty program. They have to be amongst the best in terms of customer service and they also offer amongst the most competitive weekly rake races of all the ipoker sites.

Everest Poker Loyalty Program

The Everest Poker VIP Summit Club is very simple. Once you enroll, your VIP Summit Club tier will be set at the beginning of each calendar month, based on how many Summit Points you earned in the prior month. Your tier benefits are guaranteed for one month, unless you ascend to the Death Zone or Summit tier. In the Death Zone and Summit tiers, your benefits are guaranteed not to fall for three months!

For instance, you earn 356 Summit Points in the month of June. For the entire month of July, you'll be in Base Camp, and be able to take advantage of all Base Camp benefits. Once August 1st arrives, you'll be placed into a new tier based on how many Summit Points you earned in July.

You can enroll at any time. Even if you sign up on the last day of the month, all of the Summit Points you earned in your enrollment month will count toward your tier for the next month.
